3rd Grade Joan Miro Creatures

3rd grade has been busy studying the artist Joan Miro and learning about the use of lines in art.  Students are creating creatures using sharpie and watercolor. Don't worry we will post finished pieces.  Great start 3rd grade!

4th Grade - Picasso Inspired Paintings

4th Grade studied Picasso's blue period and using knowledge of instruments and tints and shades students created beautiful paintings.

7th Grade Handmade Books

7th Grade has been working hard creating a handmade book using a variety of techniques.  Some students even made their own paper! Students picked a theme and created a book that reflected that theme.

3rd Grade Cowboy & Cowgirl Boots

3rd Graders are amazing! They designed their own boots with a theme using watercolors.

2013 Pima County Fair

Maybe you can find your child's art if you were not able to attend the fair.  Please note that we did not get to photograph all pieces since there were over 600 from Tucson Country Day School. Don't worry you will be getting your child's artwork back before the last day of school.
