7th grade Issues Poster
7th grade completed a difficult project. They were required to create a poster showing an issue that they feel the world should be more aware of. This project fostered great discussion in class. All posters had to include a silhouette, watercolor, and text to support issue. Happy art making! -Mrs. Phelps

7th Grade Oil Pastel and Watercolor
After studying a variety of artists and how they used flowers on their work, 7th grade created their own art. What a beautiful job they did! They even made a class vase with flowers!

7th Grade finished Giacometti Sculptures
Great work 7th grade! Students studied the artist Giacometti and made sculputes in his style. Students learned about movement in art and how to create a sucessful 3-D piece.

7th Grade has been busy studying motion in sculpture and creating their own sculptures in the style of Giacometti an artist they studied. Here is their work in progress.

7th Grade Zentangle Animals Finished!
7th Grade has finished their zentangle animals. What an amazing job this group of students did on this project! They worked hard enlarging their animals using a grid. Student then created amazing patterns using sharpie and filled their patterns with watercolor, painting with great control.
