3rd Grade Joan Miro Inspired Paintings

3rd Grade: After studying Joan Miro and his use of line students created paintings of "Creatures. First students exchanged papers with a friend and drew 3 lines on their paper.  After switching back papers students created a creature using the lines.  Students then outlines creature with sharpie and used watercolor to finish them. Great work!

3rd grade has been busy studying the artist Joan Miro and learning about the use of lines in art.  Students are creating creatures using sharpie and watercolor. Don't worry we will post finished pieces.  Great start 3rd grade!
