8th Grade ceramic houses

8th Grade created clay houses as part of their architecture unit.  Students first made a slab mini box to demonstrate their clay skills then they began their large ceramic houses.  This 8^th grade class all used unique elements in their pieces inspired by buildings around the world.

8th Grade has been working hard kn their ceramic houses. Students started by creating a model using posterboard before diving into the clay. This 8th grade class has great ideas and is not afraid to take creative risks! Yeah!!

8th Grade- Architecture unit project #1

8th Grade has been working hard finishing their first project of the architecture unit. Students had to pick a building from somewhere in the world, enlarge it using a grid then design it in the media of their choice. We are so impressed with the hard work of these 8th grade students. Here are some of their final pieces. More will be added next week. Can you guess these buildings?
