7th Grade finished Giacometti Sculptures

Great work 7th grade! Students studied the artist Giacometti and made sculputes in his style.  Students learned about movement in art and how to create a sucessful 3-D piece.

6th Grade Ceramic Bags


6th grade has been busy assembling their slab ceramic bags.  Students used pasta to create organic patterns on their pieces.  In this lesson students are focusing on techniques like creating slabs and properly scoring, slipping and blending. Great work so far 6th Grade!  We look forward to showing you their final pieces.

5th Grade Nevelson Inspired Sculptures

5th Grade - Nevelson Inspired Sculptures


Students in Mrs. Annie’s class are busy designing their sculptures. Students are focusing on showing movement in their sculptures. When students are finished they will be spray painting their pieces.
