It's a Work In Progress!

Our mixed 7th and 8th Grade classes hard at work on Steampunk Animals. The degree of detail and absolutely beautiful drawing skills are amazing. We are so proud of them!

6th Grade finished up some paper sculpture names, working on rendering and balancing. Alexander Calder was our inspiration for this small project. If the sculpture stood up on its own, it was a success!

Third Grade is working on a Jasper Johns-inspired watercolor resist. Jasper Johns thought letters, numbers and other ordinary objects should be used in art. The focus is on warm and cool colors.

Second Grade is Making a "Draw-To-Fit" Name artwork based on the shape of a fish. This teaches drawing coordination and use of Space, an important element of art.
