3rd grade clay fish in progress
3rd grade is busy creating clay fish. They still need to be fired and glazed so please visit blog again to see finished fish! Yeah! Great work Mrs. Stacey's class!
2nd Grade - drawings
2nd grade made drawings with crayon and then created a background with tissue paper. Students have been learning about drawing different things like owls, scorpions, elephants, cats and more!

4th Grade self portrait
4th grade is busy using watercolor pencils to create self-portraits. They have been practicing drawing different facial features and are not putting it all together. Students also examined self-portraits done by artists like Frida Kahlo, Picasso, Roger Shimomura, Chagall and more! We look forward to showing you their work when they are complete.

3rd Grade- Dragons!
Wow! Great work 3rd grade! After reading the poem "Dragon on the Playground" students created their own dragon! They focused on controling their paint and did a great job cleaning up.
8th Grade Color Wheels
8th grade advanced art is reviewing their color mixing by creating a colorwheel. Students will then start a final painting project which we will introduce next week.
