2nd Grade Flower Vases

2nd Grade: Students looked at different artists and their paintings of vases.  Students then create their own using watercolor, stamping and oil pastels. What masterpieces!

8th Grade Clay Totems

 8th Grade: Students are creating a 3 part totem pole in the style of the America Indians of the Northwest. They are off to a great start!

5th Grade Fall Pointallism

5^th Grade students studied the art of George Seurat.  Students then created their own Fall scenes using pointillism.

6th Grade Watercolor Bottles

6th Grade- Students studied color theory then did a contour drawing of bottles adding details using cross hatching. Students then outlined in sharpie and filled in with watercolor mixing colors as needed.

8th grade Self- Portraits

8th Grade- Students created self-portraits using a grid system. Students learned about the artist Chuck Close and his painting and grid process. 

6th Grade Masks

Students created painting of fish using primary colors (watercolor) Students painted backgrouds and sprinkled salt to add a bubble effect.
